I checked my last entry about the kids being sick, it has only been less than 3 weeks and Russell is down again. Netanya started a little sniffling on Monday, gave her a few doses of Tylenol (which she absolutely LOVED to take, dadda jokingly says she a ‘drug addict’ Yikes!) and she is now as good as new. Somehow she is our tough little girl, whenever she gets ill, she takes only a day or two to be back to her normal self. But not so with her 哥哥, his cold will usually be accompanied by at least 3 days of fever, then followed by a week of unrelentless cough.
Russell must have caught the cold from his sister, he started sneezing alot this morning. Uh oh, I knew it was coming. He was feeling quite alright during the day, good appetite and full of energy. I was secretly hoping that this would be it, his cold will not become a full-blown one. But, as I expected, his cold symptoms got worse in the evening. His nose was stuffy, his throat scratchy and he was running a temperature. For the past 2 hours after I put him in bed, he has woken up crying for me twice. I did everything I could to comfort him. I only hope that he gets a good night sleep tonight which will help him to get better faster, although I don’t think it will be as quick as being all well by this Sunday. We actually have plans to celebrate his 4th birthday on Sunday, he has been looking forward to it all week, now I think we will probably have to postpone it ….*sigh*…..
